Children of the Old Stars by David Lee Summers
The Cluster is a vast alien machine that destroys starships indiscriminately in its quest for something or someone. Commander John Mark Ellis, disgraced and booted out of the service when he fails to save a merchant ship, believes the key to stopping the Cluster is communication. Clyde McClintlock believes the Cluster is God incarnate. G'Liat is an alien warrior whose own starship was destroyed by the Cluster. All together these three set out to solve the mystery of the Cluster before it finds the object of its quest.

Hadrosaur Tales

HADROSAUR TALES is a science fiction and fantasy magazine published every four months by Hadrosaur Productions. Hadrosaurs, from which HADROSAUR TALES takes its name, are commonly called duck-billed dinosaurs. Many had tall head crests of hollow bone. Some of these dinosaurs looked remarkably like early depictions of unicorns. This blending of the creature of science and the creature of fantasy symbolizes the magazine: a blend of scientific and fantastic speculation.

Heirs of the New Earth by David Lee Summers (novel)
The Earth has gone silent. John Mark Ellis and the crew of the Sanson are sent to investigate. When they arrive, they find vast alien machines known as Clusters in orbit. Fearing the worst, they land and discover that the once overcrowded, polluted Earth has become a paradise of sorts. The problem is over half the population is dead or missing and the planet’s leaders don’t seem to care. As Ellis works to unravel the mystery, sudden gravitational shifts from the galaxy’s center indicate something even worse is in the offing. Can Ellis save the galaxy from the heirs of the new Earth?
"This is a well-crafted and thoughtful piece of science fiction. Highly recommended." Mark Anthony Brennan, Author, Editor, and Publisher.

The Solar Sea by David Lee Summers
Humans settled the Moon and satellites orbiting the Earth were a common sight, but with the abolition of NASA, humans had no desire to go further and space exploration died.
Then, a technician from the Very Large Array, a radio telescope in New Mexico, discovers powerful particles orbiting Saturn's moon, Titan, which could be a new energy source. Strangely enough, following the discovery's announcement, whales around the Earth changed their songs overnight.
As scion of the powerful Quinn Corporation, Thomas Quinn builds a solar sail to find the source of these particles in Titan's orbit. He gathers the best and brightest team to pilot his craft: Jonathan Jefferson, an aging astronaut known as the last man on Mars; Natalie Freeman, a distinguished Navy captain; Myra Lee, a biologist specializing in whale communication; and John O'Connell, the technician who first discovered the particles. All together they make a grand tour of the solar system and discover not only wonders but dangers beyond their imagination.
Drawing on his experience as an astronomer, David Lee Summers has created a story that is both exciting and plausible, one that can be enjoyed by both the young and young-at-heart who enjoy looking at the planets on a clear night and dreaming of what could be.

Wayne Faust shows us that it’s never too late for a second chance in life, especially in the depths of the human imagination. Clinton Harris takes us into the dark world of graverobbers employed by disreputable scientists. Of course, those scientists had better be careful what secrets they try to bury. If so, we'll be happy to take you to Charlmouth. However, author Barbara Davies warns us that a kraken has been seen guarding the bay. This summer we present an action-packed issue of Tales of Talisman. W.A. Hoffman tells us the story of a warrior who finds himself fulfilling two apparently contradictory prophesies. F.T. McKinstry introduces us to an orphaned girl on the threshold of womanhood who inherits a splendid, mysterious garden from three generations of wise women. However, high gas prices may not be all you have to fear on the road as Ken Goldman and Dawn Colclasure show us in their stories. You might choose to forego the car and take a walk on a pleasant summer evening when the stars are shining. Rick Novy tells us such a story and reminds us to pack a pressure suit, especially if the walk will be outside your spaceship. Join us as Tales of the Talisman begins its fifth exciting year!

Vampires of the Scarlet Order by David Lee Summers
Through the centuries, an elite cadre of vampire mercenaries called the scarlet order has operated as pinpoint assassins. Using nanotechnology, scientists can engineer more reliable super soldiers. What's a vampire got to do for job security?
Neal Asher describes Vampires of the Scarlet Order as: "A novel with bite. An amalgam of Blade and The Name of the Rose with a touch of X-Files thrown in for good measure."
